**I’m now currently working as a culinary tour guide and travel planner near Bordeaux, France. Check out my website at www.Aquitainetravelguide.com or Instagram and Facebook @aquitainetravelguide**
Cooking, eating, traveling and painting have always been my passions. I studied Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and French Cuisine at ESCF-Ferrandi in Paris, France.
I then completed two internships at La Bigarrade (two Michelin stars) and l’Akrame (one Michelin star) before trying cheffing on a yacht in Italy. I have also worked at the restaurant Verjus, in Paris; and continue cooking and eating out whenever possible.
I also live between Paris and Barcelona, you can check out http://www.bongustbcn.com for some stuff on Barcelona!
Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.
Hi Jennifer! I actually live near Bordeaux now and do offer tours locally.
I used to work for Context Travel and would highly recommend taking a tour with them https://www.contexttravel.com/cities/paris
Alternatively, there is an individual named Ann Ditmeyer that also leads tours in Paris and I would also recommend her https://www.navigateparis.com
Please feel free to contact me with any other questions!
All the best,
Anne
Hey superb blog! Does running a blog similar to this take a massive amount work?
I have virtually no understanding of programming but I was hoping to start my own blog in
the near future. Anyway, should you have any suggestions or techniques for new blog owners
please share. I understand this is off subject nevertheless I simply had to ask.
Kudos!
I’ll be honest, with WordPress.com you don’t really need to know much about programming. If you find this platform daunting, you could always try blogger or tumblr which are even more user friendly. Good luck and post your blogs link if you have started!
You’re work is amazing. I can’t wait to have one on my wall one day… after you’ve made me dinner.
Ah thanks buddy, I’d love to paint something for you! And cook for you, though I’d be rather intimidated!
For some cause the picture just isn’t loading appropriately, is at this time there an issue?
Hi, I’m sorry you are having problems with the images. I haven’t had problems before so hopefully its ok now. Thanks for letting me know!
Wow Ann. These are absolutely wonderful paintings. I am just so impressed. I had no idea. You should have told me you were this good. This is wonderful stuff. I hope you are doing more of it!!!

An ne- this is really cool!!! You are very talented to say
the least!!!!! Love the website- maryann – cookie lady!!!!!
Wow! It almost looks too good to eat. I’m imrpsseed with the quality of the pictures taken from iPhones. I noticed you use it more often on your blog. Sure beats carrying around a bulky camera everywhere!
It really is easier, I just need the newer iPhone so the quality is better. I would probably feel ridiculous taking out a big camera!
This stuff is really cool Anne — how did I not know you were an artist? Hope you’re doing well-
Thanks! I’m hoping to get more involved with it as well…I’m doing very well, I hope you are too!
